It doesn’t change the fact that the factory manifold is a joke. 3 cylinders merging into one and then a pinched section prior to the cat.

Its easily the biggest power adder for a simple bolt on so why not just splurge for some headers.

You can't see the headers in this car. Do they look from underneath?

You can see it from underneath, Im missing my secondaries already, but I'll fab it up to connect to my x force axle back... plan to put those on if the Smell is that bad. Probably go H pipe reasonatorless since the cats should absorb the sound.

The smell is pretty strong. I have no cats at all. Search X vs H pipe dynoes and you’ll see X is better.

I know X is better, but I want a different deeper sound to the car. I know an ISS system has X and H , but no clue why. Hah

If you want different deeper sounds you would have to play with different size pipping, resonators and mufflers. I tried it out on a Nissan and it drastically changes everything. For the ISF I found PPE headers with a Borla exhaust is perfect. Not loud when cursing and nice growl when WOT.

All you need is rr racing’s tune or 02 conditioner to eliminate CEL.

My conditioner would act up and set a CEL every 1000 miles or so. I have a tune now and no issues so far.

I always thought about going this route too if I didn't get headers. How much did it cost you to get your cats hollowed out and have a pipe welded in? You got a tune or dyno along with this?
