Found 2008 IS F
Been looking online lately for a new car/truck. Found a 08 IS-F with 84,888 miles on it for 21K. Wondering if this is a good deal. The dealership says it’s had 6 owners but no accidents or issues. Debating on this or a Tacoma. Parents just bought an rx and I was blown away by the quality. Let me know if it seems like a good deal. Thanks!

Try running it through blackbook portal and texas direct auto to see what blackbook says and how much TDA would pay for it

Price sounds pretty good for the mileage, but your standard 'buyer beware' caveats will apply so I'd be sure to have the car inspected independently prior to buying it. I do find it strange that you're cross shopping it to a Tacoma, so be sure about what you want.

It's in the price range of where it needs to be, even a little cheap actually and funny enough it will get better MPG than a Tacoma all day.
Run a carfax/autocheck on it(i recommend both), and do a PPI. Check for water pump leaks, nav touch screen working, and the basics of any used car. Checking brake/tire life can also help negotiate it lower if they need replacement. Otherwise go for it and post pics!

"sounds" like a good deal...only thing concerning is 6 owners (unless some were dealers who bought it). The ISF isn't the type of car for SIX people to own and give it up all in less than 90k miles (averaging 15k miles per owner) unless something is making them give it up. Odds of 6 people just wanting to let go of a perfectly good F are slim to none imo. I'd be doing some serious test driving, along with one being to the dealership for a PPI like mentioned above.

If it makes you feel any better... My 2008 ISF had 1 original owner who put on 55k miles, then the dealer took ownership, some lady who worked for an insurance company took ownership of it, racked up another 10k miles, it went to auction, another dealer took ownership of it, and then I bought it with 67k miles. The car now has over 155k miles on it and still runs and functions perfectly fine.
