Anyone running the DR series BC coilovers with adjustable dampening and compression? Seems like almost everyone is running the dampening adjustable only version.
Starting to look for coilovers for spring and the BC DR with 16/12 Swifts seems to be a good bet. I’ve been burned by coilovers with only dampening adjustment in the past and don’t want to go down that road again of trying to pick the perfect spring rates to make the ride what you want.
Also, is 16/12 or 16/14 the popular combination these days? With the dual adjustability it seems as though it would be better to have the slightly softer spring since you can crank up the compression.
Or or what about the ER series with the remote reservoir and independent dampening and compression adjustability?
Seems like either DR or ER would be better options than the basic setup for marginally more money.

Do they make a DR for the ISF? Because if they don't, and its for the 250/350, you'll have to get a stiff spring rate regardless. Plus I think people go with the BR just on simplicity alone because like the KW with all its adjustability you don't really see folks play with them. They just leave them how they are out the box and adjust height.
Usually the combo you see folks go with is the 16k/12k, that's what I was going to do had I gone with BC but I got a good deal on the Greddy x KW coilovers so I got those instead

Are you stuck with the BC brand? Why not KW?

The KW are roughly double the price of the DR series BC with Swifts. I'm not tracking the car, so, I'm open to lower end suggestions. I'm also strongly considering the Fortune Autos (I have these on my G already and they are very good, but only rebound adjustable).
I also thought the KW had too soft spring rates? Are the spring rates customizable and are the shocks valved accordingly?
