Fantastic run by The Supercharged ISF I thought the ZO6 would have the advantage due to its lighter-weight of nearly 300 lb as well as its 650 HP & 650tq. Boy was I wrong that's supercharged ISF pulled on that C7 ZO6 from the beginning of trace all way to end of the half mile.
Just wondering was that the standard supercharged kit? Or is it the RR racing supercharged kit with the new ethanol kit installed bringing the horsepower up to 570whp n 485tq
There's also a supercharged ISF running a custom meth injection kit that RRracing helped tune with the shop that did the install that ISF put down 619whp.

This is not a drag strip, it’s an airport runway so probably less grip.. At the higher speeds, like 120mph+ (this is a 1/2 mile run, not 1/4) the ISF pulls away due to aero advantage especially since the Z has tgexaero package which creates lots of drag.
basedon the final event results, there were 2 2018 ZL1’s both running about 145mph.
In any case, this event obviously attracts some heavily modified cars, but here is a summary of trap speeds from some fast but “stockish” cars:

This kind of potential (and so far reliability) of modding will increase the desirability of the ISF in the years to come. Where else can you pick up an 08 ISF and supercharge it for practically the price of a new loaded Honda Accord?
If the car can hold up mechanically to this type of modding, it will eventually catch on in the used car market and could become much more sought after, as there are not many out there, and the tuning potential is so large.
Thanks to Rafi for working to make our cars more collectible and hopefully keeping resale values high.
