Default New (to me) 11 USB Lexus ISF

Hi all, i wanted to make an intro thread for my new to me 11 USB Lexus ISF. This has been one of my dream cars since high school and it feels surreal to actually own one. The car was bought from a forum member located in Virginia with 90k miles in immaculate condition for its age both inside and out. I flew out from Dallas and did a 1500 miles road trip back home passing through Virginia, Tennessee, Mississippi and Louisiana. The car did amazing with no problems at all driving all those hours and the seats were actually quite comfortable for such a long drive. Power was more then adequate in the interstate and the 23 mpg highway was a huge bonus! over all, this car is amazing and i absolutely love it! the only negative thing i got to say about it is that the audio is not very impressive in this car.

its new home.

Thank you sir! nothing much really, i want to keep this car as OEM as possible and really just enjoy it. The car came with a Takeda intake and a WALD trunk spoiler thats about it. but next week, shes getting a full exterior and interior cleaning.

Congrats on a dream come true! You definitely got to see what kind of potential this car has with that long road trip home. Always great to see a new F owner, and a really pristine one you purchased. Great color choice. Enjoy your F!

Congrats! The car didn't come with the Sikky headers & HKS exhaust?

I agree that the sound system is not great, but after awhile you get used to it and won’t think about it anymore.

When you can finally bring yourself to use cruise control after the newness has died down just a bit, you should be able to top that 23 mpg on the highway. Quite amazing.

Congrats on the purchase.

Congratulations on your purchase. An extended road trip is a great way to familiarize yourself with a vehicle like the f.

Did you come from that silver IS previously? If so, awesome irony, as I did as well and lived in Arlington with said IS350 for nearly a decade, and then found my "gently totaled" '11 USB F in DFW last year about this time.

Congrats, welcome, and enjoy! Let me know if you're ever in Austin... I'm friends with another USB owner here, and it'd be awesome to get together!

that picture was taken in Memphis outside of my hotel, i parked alone at night and then in the morning i woke up to that IS parked next to me. Funny thing is i think that owner had also just bought his IS because he had temp tags from the dealer and it was freshly detailed ahah.

Also, it would be awesome if there was some sort of an annual ISF meet in Texas. Would definitely be interested!

You might consider the blackout treatment of the window chrome, front gril surroundl, emblems and lug nuts...chrome is the enemy! Easy mods that go a long way in the looks department.

I definitely thought about the blackout treatment, along with yellow films for the fogs.

I personally like the chrome... also there’s a popular and affordable aftermarket LED version of the fogs that go a long way to update the look, ditto for the tail lights. Still have my fugly stock fogs w/yellow film that came with the car. Yours for a song if ya want em.
