Default O2 Sims

My car is throwing P0430 and P0159. I don’t have cats and I have sims that have worked well for 1200 Miles. Are both of these codes related to the lack of cats and can I still drive it hard safely? Will a tune fix this?

I believe that's the same thing I'm getting. Mine worked great for 2 years and I get "cylinder bank 1 lean" and "cylinder bank 2 lean" at least once a week now. I keep the ODB2 reader in the car connected to my phone to clear it when it happens. It's like they just stop sending the right voltage for a fraction of a second. I'm planning on having RR-Racing tune the signal out soon. It's 100% due to the O2 sims

With them tuned out, would I just keep the sims installed, do I need real O2 sensors, or does it just turn all of that stuff off? If I can turn it all off, I’ll just buy the intake and tune.

Do you have headers? I had the issue once and it was due to one of the wiring extensions shorting out. It could be the sensor, the wiring, or the sim, but the extension failing seems to be a pretty common, and often initially overlooked cause.

I do have headers. The sims were installed well, I’m guessing the connectors are in the car under the carpet, I can’t see them under the car. Do I pull the carpet out to replace the sim and/or extension?
