Clock Spring

Clock Spring
So I ordered clock spring 84306-0E010 for my 2011 ISF which is what MyLParts brings up. When I ordered I gave them my VIN and everything looked like it should be the exact one on my car. However, when it arrived it was missing a female connector for the gray male connector. I’m not sure what this goes to or is suppose to operate. A quick assessment doesn’t seem to have anything not working on the steering wheel. I may have missed something though. Also, the little car on the left of the cluster with the squiggle (burnout/slide) marks is lit up. I also installed the RRR carbon intake tube and AOS at the same time. It seems more likely related to the missing female connector rather than the intake tube and AOS but I wanted to get other opinions what the connector might be for before I dive into troubleshooting.

This is the part number I see for all IS F models: 84306-48030. Unless it has been superceded by the number you have, the part you have may not be identical to the original. I only see Toyotas with the part you have using the part number resource available to me.

number I posted in the OP. Now I’m curious is the cluster warning light is related to something with the AOS and carbon intake I installed.

I would have done that but the new clock spring does not have the female connection on it. I tried to see if it was a part that could be taken off the old one and installed on the new one and it’s molded into the back main housing of the old clock spring. IOW I would have to take apart the new clock spring and reassemble which is where I got into trouble with the original one. I couldn’t get it back together once it sprung apart into my lap.
