The car kept him as safe as it could. Thank goodness he's alive and well. The car is powerful enough, but we as drivers need to be even stronger mentally and entirely attentive when behind the wheel.

Couldn't put it any better if I tried mate. Wise words indeed.

Part out?

But seriously, glad to hear the driver is recovering well from his injuries. I understand the worst of which is a broken arm. I cannot believe there were no head injuries. Lets hear it for seatbelts and Japanese engineering.

Whether it be speeding, fatigue or both, he is one very very lucky guy. No one could argue that. No other vehicles involved which is a fortunate thing. If thats not a wake up call to slow down or not drive whilst tired, nothing is.

End of the day, as much as we love our ISF's, cars can be replaced, people cant. Any accident you can walk away from is a good one.

He needs to buy a lottery ticket because its a miracle he got out of that without any major or fatal injuries. A few cm's here or there could of made all the difference, best of luck to him for a speedy recovery.

Damn, that’s a horrific crash. And here I was averaging about 105mph heading to kelowna this last weekend, scary thought if something were to fail mid corner

Yeah saw that on Facebook, he said he had to kick the windshield to get out and tried to get help but passed out on the street. He was aired to the nearest hospital and what's crazy was his engine and transmission was 50-100 feet apart from his car. Definitely a very lucky man and glad he's alive.

Nah. He used up all his luck on surviving that crash. Lottery will be a loser for him for years to come.

theres no way that isnt a 100+mph crash. holy frikkin god ive never seen an IS or even a modern lexus in a crash the horrific. i dont think theres even any parts left to save. i mean.. DAMN.

glad he survived with minor injuries. this has death crash written all over it. people dont live thru crashes this major. ive been in two really serious accidents one even involving a fatality. was hit head on by a drunk driver years ago in a 91 LS400 going 60 mph and got out with minor injuries and a serious concussion. drunk that hit me was killed. mine was a bad bad crash and didnt even look as bad as this. wow!!

folks, heres a perfect example of how amazing these cars really are.

He should probably buy a Volvo or something comparably tanky. That's breathtaking he made it out ok.

I was wondering if this was a joke for a couple minutes because...those pics...my goodness, dude.
