It definitely pulls strong. Very quick acceleration and its effortless on the highway.
its amazing what toyota has done with this car, my 98 GS300 with 295k still runs but it definitely doesnt pull as hard as my 02 with 180k miles.

Be interested to see what it pulls on the dyno
that would be interesting to see, makes me wonder if a competitor to the F either domestic or from the Germans can pull over 300k and still run without major issues.

Was the car daily driven in Chicago and is there any rust? That would be just as impressive as the mileage. Do you know of any major repairs?

edit: was it in Chicago it’s entire life? Thanks.

looks like your doing real well. Enjoy your ride.
As to the reversed badge, I would check for body work. I seriously doubt that Lexus put the wrong badge on the car

I believe he was referring to the caliper brembro decal that was installed the wrong way after repainting the calipers

I just read the other thread. I didn’t see any rust to the actual body of the car, just the mechanical components like the rear end and exhaust. Is that correct? If so, these must have a serious zinc coating on them. I see 10 year old rotted cars in indiana all the time.

A great testament of toyota engineering and reliability. I doubt most cars in this class (smaller performance sedan) will ever reach that milestone on original powertrain components. Keep us posted on how things progress going forward.
