Airbag light

My airbag light has come on and then it’ll go off and back on I’m trying to figure out how to fix it without going to the dealership. I have wiggled the wires and tried to make sure there is a good connection but it stays on. What else should I do?

I know some toyotas have issue with coil spring wiring behind the sterling wheel. U move wheel connection comes and goes. Try to see if your wheel is in the specific corner when light is off.

i had that happen to me on my 08 it was a wire harness. luckily i still had warranty at that point.

check the connector right under the driver footwell /knee area . It didn't seem loose but that was what was causing my abs light on my 08. ended up gorilla taping it because the dealer wouldn't cover it.

It happened to me to I pulled the plastics out below my steering wheel..found the harness and made sure all wiring was connected and snug. Turned the car on and air bag light was gone. No need to disconnect the battery on my end. There is a thread on Club Lexus on this and it saved me from going to the dealer.
