Default Anyone Purchase The Icode BBS Wheels

I recently stumbled some nice wheels while I wasn't a fan of buying wheels used online as they're normally portraid to look way better online than in person, I stumbled upon some BBS re052 wheels that sold, whose the lucky guy that got to purchase this set? Hopefully someone from the forums, I checked retail msrp was nearly 15k and thats if you can find them or find someone to get them for you.

Anyways great wheels! Hopefully another ISF owner was able to score them and puts them to good use! And if it was someone here, definitely post some photos up.

Wheels are forged magnesium f1 technology stuff although not as light as real f1 wheels they are about a lb lighter in the front than some of RAYS lightest wheels in similar specs, Ive also seen them on several LFAs looking realgood

So sexy. Magnesium is epic except for if you get a crack in the wheel (and you probably will because it's brittle), you pretty much have to scrap the wheel.

What site were you on btw?

Definitely, it was crooooober.com, they rate they're wheels 2/3 stars Im not sure if they're just being honest or trying to overstate the condition so that when buyer receive its in much better condition, but I had to follow these wheels they are just so gorgeous.

It blows my mind to spend 15 grand on wheels to save an extra 1-2 pounds. For 15 grand you could buy the nicest daily driver in the universe... a nice car with decent wheels.

Most guys on the 2is site spend that on their entire car.

True, you could probably buy multiple nice dd's for that price.

I thought I spent too much on my daily driver and my multiple sets of wheels. Turns out I didn’t spend that much lol. Carry on.

Why not go carbon fiber wheels? They are stunning!!!!

Ford 350GT CF wheels are f19x11 and r19x11.5 ford says "the carbon fiber wheels weigh a mere 18 pounds each, compared to around 33 pounds for a comparable aluminum wheel"
And according to m3 forum there are only handful of wheels that are below 20lb mark.

18 pounds is low for 19x11, but not earth shattering when you can get 18s that weigh 18 pounds for about 3000

oh yeah!! Totally agree. At this point there are not many brands doing CF wheels. But I can only imagine how little 18s gonna weight....

P.S carbon fiber is stronger than aluminum....
