Yes, I know these are performance cars. But since it will be my primary car, it will be nice to be able to go to lunch with my co-workers and not having to drive two cars.

I was looking at an used 2012 ISF and a CPO 2015 RCF. After test driving both, I am serious leaning toward the ISF. Yes the RCF has better front seats and more power. plus blind spot & cross traffic alert. But the back sets are almost clusterphobia inducing. I also prefer the instrumentation on the ISF. The RCF changes from ECO to Normal to Sport to Sport+, very confusing. And does anyone drive it ECO mode, really?


The GSF is much roomier but another $15K more.


If anyone is thinking of trading in their ISF for RCF, what are your likes, dislikes I should know about before pulling the trigger on one?

 

I've recently test drove a TVD RCF. It was a great test drive. I had a pretty thorough drive on the freeway and on side streets (even though I had told the dealer that I was not going to buy and only wanted to see if I would like it). The acceleration seemed the same from 0-80...after 80 the RCF seemed to accelerate a little better. Hit 100 faster than my ISF did. I loved the modern tech, sound system, etc. I may be in the minority but I like the look better as well (I've always been fond of coupes). There is a good amount of trunk space and the back seats are not that bad...if you are under 6'-0".

All said and done I was thinking of trading in my ISF for an RCF. After the test drive I'm on the fence about it now. Just didn't feel it was that much more car than my ISF. Plus I got 2 extra doors!
