I just realized you haven’t added any power to your F. Have you ridden in a FBO F?

call me silly, I like the new Camaros. Heard the 10 speed auto is amazing. No idea on prices though.

I wish we could have more aggressive gearing. That would make the F much more raw and wild. I thought about using a 353 or 375 gear. I read it did poorly with a 4:10.

^^^^It's been done. An IS350 rear end fits an ISF. I remember a couple of threads on this, but for the life of me, I can't fine them. As I recall, no real world difference.

I have a soft spot for the C3 vette the 1969 but I only have space for one car right now. So it needs to be a daily driver.

You traitor! But seriously, its worth it, isnt it? Remember when I asked you about the billsteins and you told me they are all sold out and I have to wait MONTHS for some shocks, thats the kind of issues I hope not to have with the vette, when I modify it.

I'd pick a Porsche over a Corvette too but only a turbo or GT3. So that was obviously out of budget.

I still have the ISF so not a traitor.

Vette has so many options to modify your car

Having driven them both, I think if you're looking for a change, and you really don't need the back seat? It could be fun. The C7 is a phenomenal performance car, even in very basic trim. But if you're worried about what people say about your car? Owning a Corvette won't be fun either. "So got your mid-life crisis car, huh?" Ha ha.

Also, why is the dodge viper so expensive? Lol

Your low 30k budget good luck finding clean low milage C7 for that amount. I like Stang and Camaro. Just get what you want, but be prepared to take big hit when it cones time for you to sell or trade them in. Since you change cars every 2 yr or so.

Im keeping the F. I cant compromise my lifestyle because of a cool looking car. Patiently waiting for the M3 or M6 to drop in price.

As a Corvette owner and Lexus owner and an overall car fan, this is a tough question. I am on my second C5 corvette, an ‘02 Coupe. My first one was the same year Z06 that I foolishly sold. I love the car, look forward to driving it as much as possible.
I love our RX350, but they are not comparable.
I looked at the IS but found it too small in front and the rear is almost useless. However, I am very attracted to the LFA, RCF, and LS500. The big problem for me is I’m not a new Corvette or any other car buyer in that price range.
However, if money were no object I would chose the Corvette vs the ISF, despite the sweet Lexus engine and build quality. I just can’t do cramped. Offer me one of the 3 Lexus sports cars and the verdict would be different.

Honestly, no one in their right mind would choose an 02 Corvette over an '11/'12+ ISF.... totally different machines and much more refined/luxurious. You should try driving an ISF/RCF....you'll quickly see the F cars are capable of blowing the doors off the C5. Everyone in the thread is stuggling choosing between the F and a C7 Vette...and the C5 isn't anywhere close to the car of the C7.
Also, the F cars (all 3) have more usable space (and front leg room) than the Corvette.

V.
