Was invited to a track rental yesterday and planned on bringing the Mustang, morning of it decided not to start for the first time ever. I haven't driven for a couple weeks so I have a drain somewhere, Anyways, I paid for the day and was already late so I decided to take the F.

it was 45deg and my rear tires are done so I didn't have high expectations.
Spun first pass really bad.
2nd pass 12.8@113 with 1.9 60ft

L

Last pass spun again 2.2 60ft 13.1@113

After that it was just too cold to hang out anymore. I'm pretty happy with that, seems about on par.

That’s a good time My first time with the F was at 95 degrees on the track. Heat soak sucks.

Yeah most of my passes modded this summer we’re 12.6-12.9.... heat kills. Hopefully I get one cold race day this October to see what it’ll do in the cool weather. Great time, that’s actually faster then most recorded stock times per the magazines.

Thanks guys. Not sure I was going to get anything better than a 1.9 on those tires with the temp. I will say I did see a bit of one tire fire (spinning one off the line on a crappy pass) may be time for the later model diff.

Jwconeil, what mods do you have now?

I have a 13 with PTS / Joez. Cheap summer tires. From the numbers I have seen, you will need drag radials for below 1.9 60s. Next year I’ll be tuned with drag radials and Intake. Maybe lighter wheels. Depends on how cheap I am.
