Wish too! Unfortunately because the rotors come factory cross drilled from Lexus, this is the only way we can offer these rotors since we follow how it comes OEM.

Apologies for being away for quite a while but we've got some things in the works. Currently in communication with Stoptech/Centric to bring back slotted and/or blank 125 series (high-carbon) rotors for the track guys who don't want to spend for 2-piece rotors. Also working with them on a set of beautiful 2-piece rotors that are on par with quality and performance of the GiroDisc assemblies but for a bit less depending on how big of a batch we can do.

We were able to secure another small batch of Project Mu Club Racer slotted rotors for the time being since they have been one of the only readily available options. Not sure how low I can get these down to but will try to work a Black Friday deal for anyone interested.

How come for other vehicles, you guys make them slotted, drilled, or both slotted/drilled?

Most other vehicles on the market come with factory blank rotors. Because they come blanks, we can offer those rotors in any machining pattern. Vehicles such as IS F, GS F, M3, M5 and most Mercerdes cars, they come factory cross drilled or slotted only so we follow how it comes OEM from the manufacture.

^^^^Are you saying that you use factory blanks? I really don't think that's true, but if it is, why should we buy your rotors. If it's not true, than you can do anything you want with the blanks.

BTW, the GSF comes with slotted rotors.

Let me rephrase what I was saying. However the rotors come OEM on the vehicle from the manufacture, this what what you're going to get from us. As stated on the IS F, it comes factory drilled only and the on the GS F it comes slotted only. On most other vehicles such as the regular IS models and GS models, because they come with blank rotors, we are able to offer slotted, drilled, or drilled & slotted. We DO NOT use factory rotors from Toyota/Lexus. We have our own facility overseas that manufactures our rotors and brake pads here at R1.

^^^^If you own the factory that makes your blanks, then why can't you offer the ISF owners with the same options as you offer the owners of cars with plain rotors? Sorry, but your answer makes little sense to me! I don't understand

I guess the lack of choice is just another issue related to the low volume nature of our ISFs.

We follow however the rotors comes OEM from the manufacture. Yes, drilled only isn't the best route to go with since these are prone to creating stress cracks but this is how Lexus wanted these rotors so this is how we offer the rotors. It is possible for us to get these in just the blanks from our manufacture and I would have to request this from my product manager. However, we would need to order at least 100 pieces to make it happen. If you guys want these in just the blanks where we can machine these in slotted only, let me know and I'll put in a request in. I would need serious inquires for this too.
