I am not here to argue what is the best remote start but do have some knowledge on products on the market and would be happy to share my opinion.

Compustar is a reputable brand and would work with our vehicles. There are a few different options you can get, remote or drone. I am not sure if you can use the factory remote I would have to double check with this, at one time I heard it was not possible and another time I heard the module would allow our remote to work? If you could not use the factory remote typically people get a long range remote which would be an additional remote that has a mile range. A drone uses a cellular connection which can be used anywhere through an app on your phone but there is a monthly fee. For basic features it is $5.99 a month however you can buy a year subscription for $59.99, 2 year for $99.99, or 3 years for $129.99. The remote start module which I believe comes with a T-Harness for our vehicles is $399.99 I believe with extra costs going up for drone and/or long range remote. I would have to check on all of these pricings. Installation would take 3-4 hours to do. The system is automatically set up to run the car for 15min however upon installation you can program it for more or less time. I believe the max time would be 30min? When you start the car remotely, once the car is on you would have to push the start button in the vehicle to transfer control over and then you would be able to put the car in drive. Realistically to get this product installed in your vehicle you are looking to spend around $1,000 or less with parts and labor. These are also retail prices. The mark up on remote starts is crazy.

I know there are other products on the market and I am sure they are more cost effective however I know Compustar is a quality product and would feel confident installing it in my vehicle.
