Default who has a carbon fiber steering wheel?

do you regret getting it? Is it worth the $700 or so. The flat bottom looks so nice!

I do, and no, don’t regret it for a second. Matches up really well with all my other carbon goodies. Given the steering wheel is one of the parts you see and interact with all the time, it’s worth the money IMHO.

I've had a couple of them and loved both. My preference is the carbon on the bottom only since it isn't as comfortable as alcantara or leather when holding the top portion. But to answer your question they are worth every penny.

@PDP180180 / @MAizz ,
Where did you get your black carbon console/door pieces from (if you don't mind me asking)?

I'm with MAizz. My hands are usually at 10 & 2. I don't want to be touching something hard and smooth. When I grew up, all cars had skinny smooth large diameter bakelite steering wheels. In the 70s folks started wrapping them. I'm in AZ so the carbon fiber top would be very hot.

Hey Guys,

Steering wheel was from Elvin (supplied a bunch of folks I believe), along with my centre console, ashtray, side trims, cluster surround and inner door handle trims. The door switch covers were bespoke from a U.K. based guy who does Formula 1 and WRC carbon work.

I got my wheel from the same person. But all my other carbon fiber stuff I make myself.

I also have the steering wheel and several other carbon parts in my interior. Be cautious as once you start you will keep spending on other parts!

Flat bottom wheels can be found for closer to $300 in perf. leather without the shiny hard carbon fiber.
