I used to go to the same guy, Spencer, at Lexus of TO but he's been gone for a year or so. That dude was money as far as getting things done on the owner's behalf. Since then, I've worked with Chris, IIRC. He's nice but not sure I get 100% good vibes from him. I do know if they give me **** about replacing the milky, scratched doors/dash I'll have a tantrum right in the lobby/showroom until they figure it out.

Who do you have as a rep? Or do you just pull up and roll with whoever comes outside?

When I make an appointment I ask for first available. I went through Chris, Steve, Jacob, Manish, and Ruben. Not all bad but I will pm you my experiences with each. Just FYI, even though I request a certain SA online I still get diverted to first available. Michael Hummel, the assistant service manager seems to care. He has called me back when I had issues and always ensured me that I will be taken care of. He was the one that approved my door panel replacement.

Well...after 2 months of having to wait like I was told for my door panels...I was told today that they are on back order and it could take a year...FML.

Oh well, I've had melted panels for years so whats another few more months.

For what it's worth we ordered my recall in Nov. and the panels arrived a couple of weeks ago, so that kind of sounds like BS. Mine is an 11 as well so I assumed I'd be at the back of the queue. When were yours ordered?

Mine were supposedly ordered in December 2018. It does sound like BS doesn't it?

Interesting. Mine were ordered November 6th, and I was just at the dealer last week to follow up. Nothing yet.

Well I called the parts department to verify and they did have an order number for me. They just don't know the ETA because of the backorder. Is it possible Lexus doesn't have any of these in stock and are have them made?

You could check with Lexus corporate. I was once told that one of my complaints was being reviewed by Lexus. After a couple of months I called the corporate offices and found out there was nothing on file. Maybe you're getting the same kind of run around...

Are you referring to the door panels? I don't think Lexus corporate would know if it was ordered or not. That's internal info from the dealer.
