Where I come from, someone being wrong doesn’t make them inferior, nor does it give me the right to act in such a way. I especially expect that knowledge to be held by people who have been around a while. Small community living taught me some dying traits.

Regardless, I stand corrected on the name of a car. I think the point of the convo was the potential ISF and/or Lexus competing with BMW. Let’s get back to that.

If a new ISF gets a twin turbo V6, I think it would have closer to 500 hp, maybe just shy of it. I think it would sell well, especially with the 10 speed Transmission.

Just hard for me to imagine an F car without a V8. Just doesn't seem or sound right, lol.

I feel you... But I look back to the 2JZ and daydream of how great some of Toyota’s turbo engines are.

I gotta admit, I’ll still keep mine over a turbo V6... especially since the cost will be pretty high.

I love the sound of my FBO 02 5sp IS300....and still get compliments on the sound of it as well, but make no mistake, not comparable one bit to the FBO F.

^^^^Sounds from a Straight 6 and a V6 are different. Inline 6 sounds much better than V6 IMHO. But nothing matches the sounds of a well tuned NA V8 IMO. Not even a V10 or V12.

At this point Lexus will never produce and ISF that makes more horsepower than the RCF current GSF or LC 500. That would require them to bump up price significantly. Currently C/F packaged RCF is 80K What would 500plus C/F RCF cost.? Same goes for the other to models. You could get way with RCF and ISF having same hp but not GSF or $120 LC500 they would have to once again significances bump up the price point for those two models. Lexus/Toyota to conservative for that look what they did to new Supra. The Supra will go the way of new NSX. The new supra sale will be small unless unless aftermarket jumps all over its thats only way for it to survive.

Default V35a-fts

Torquier than any F motor. LFA included. With 442 +(bet your behind it will be tuned higher than LS500)
lb/ft of torque,let's just say,460 or so,you won't notice it being "only"416hp.
Talking "hot vee" setup.

Torque means nothing. Please stop the foolishness now.
