Yeah but doesn't it also stop the vertical leveling motor? Yes, i understand that can be adjusted manually.

It wouldn't matter if you are using the VLand headlights since they use manual adjustments for the LED lights. If you are using the OEM projectors, then it would disable the leveling motor, yes.

When it comes to lighting, if there’s no upgrade to output then it seems like it’s not an upgrade at all.

Guess I could understand it if you didn’t have the factory LED strip lights, but from what I’ve seen so far they don’t appear to be any better output, which is kind of sad. Our factory projector is mediocre at best.

Even with the spendy D4S CBI’s and clear lens upgrade they don’t compare to many of the basic projectors on the market.

I was under the impression there was a leveling motor on the VLand Lights...

I just picked up these bad boys from China. The packing is top notch and the product looks well made. I will take it back next week and will install it soon after. Will put up some pics soon after. I also got the blacked out tail lights.

I've seen them in person and I really don't want to like them but, the build quality is top notch and they do look really good. Considering a nice set of HID bulbs or OEM goes for $120+ per bulb, at $550 for these it makes decent sense. Especially if you have a pre facelift car, these should be considered.

Contradicting statement in a way there. You just might like them later then lol.

I should clarify. I don't want to like them because I'm not a fan of trying to make a last-gen car look like the new models (i.e. F10 M5 bumpers on E60, 3IS Bumpers on 2IS etc etc.) BUT, these are executed very well.

So is there a definitive answer as to whether the light output is better or worse than the stock ISF HIDs?

I'd like to know as well about light output........seems like we've gotten subjective answers so far..... I'm more concerned with the highbeam output as I utilize the highbeams on dark roads quite often....would be nice to get lumen output to compare
