I just finished my latest addition to my 2008 MM 92k mile ISF. This is what I did to my exhaust -I completely removed the crushed y pipe and all the parts that go with it deleted both mufflers and all stock pipes second cat and resonator. My car already had a car treats Billie boat center mid pipe it was also a Y design coming from my primary cats had an exhaust leak and put new gaskets on them as it came down and went into a one pipe I fitted a magna flow X pipe 2.5 inch piping dual magna flow glass pack resonators then dual magna flow glass pack mufflers -Total cost $930 that’s with tax. I also have a Injen SP tuned cai -Sounds absolutely amazing very little drone and a noticeable increase in horsepower. Going to Dyno and let you guys know numbers.

No one is against custom exhaust, but there’s plenty of new and used options that don’t break the bank. The main issue I’ve seen with custom exhausts is that it is hard to sell or partnout later on. No one knows what it gains or even sounds like unless they’re right there and you tend to destroy the stock exhaust in the process. Either way, needs video!
