The lowest part of the brace is about 1” lower than the lowest part of the plastic panels.

Is it higher, lower, or about even with the body side sills?
Trying to get a feel for how much ground clearance is being given up.

Any problems with rubbing or rattling against the factory exhaust resonator?

Any comments would be much appreciated.
Thanks.
Just getting the notification for this question but looks like you already have photos from JT2MA71. My F is still in storage for the winter but I will plan to take a few photos as soon as I take it out (most likely in a few weeks).

@PJSnow , @JT2MA71 Do either of you experience rubbing/scraping over speed bumps? Seems like that is the most likely clearance issue for the "X" part during normal street driving.

I am still at stock ride height and have not experienced any issues (at least not that I have heard/felt). The "X" part does sit quite low but it is close to the rear wheels. I will check for scrapes when my F comes out of storage.

So far, none. My car isn't too low though. It is lowered but not crazy low,. Looking under the car, there's at least 5" clearance between the brace and my garage floor. I now have the Ohlins coilovers that I took out of the RC-F. It was a little lower when it was on swift springs.

Default Did this mod on my 2012 IS-F - with special brackets

Thanks to this thread, I did this mod on my 2012 IS-F which has a stock exhaust. It was pretty straightforward. I made two small brackets to tie down the loose tabs on the exhaust head shield. I am on stock suspension with 245-40-19 front, 275-35-19 rear. Ground clearance seems to be OK. Only additional change was to use pan head socket head bolts for the two brackets where they attach to the brace, to give a little more ground clearance

Wanted to confirm if the three brackets / braces shown in the photo below, are also installed on the 06 - 2013 IS 350? Also, is the part referenced by the yellow arrow in photo, the "tunnel brace"?

Have since confirmed two of the three braces are also installed in the 06 - 2013 IS 350 as well. I assume all three shown braces in photo were also installed in the 06 - 2013 IS 350.
