I keep my racing solely at the track, and this is a great example of why. There are many other common sense reasons.

That's my friend. He was not racing anyone, some car cut him off and he tried to swerve to dodge the car which caused him to roll down 4-5 times down that hill. He was on his way home from work and it was raining. Also, it's a GSF with full Toms kit + TE37s, NOT an ISF. The important thing is he is alive and was able to walk away from that crash. News don't know the real truth, they just spit out stuff to make headlines.

Another news website reported a Chevrolet Camaro with confidence. Shows you how credible news reports are. Especially when they see modified cars they always automatically assume racing.

There is a growing trend in news media which has little to do with factual information and everything to do with sensationalism... Thank you for providing the real story, unfortunately the real story won't be heard by many people... Most importantly I'm glad your friend was able to walk away from the crash and is okay.

Got away, the GSF owner didn't even hear of anything about racing until we told him the news "reported" it. No ticket, no citation, cops didn't even ask him about it, he's not worried about some false news claims. Like F Monster said, he's alive and walking right now.
"2 cars racing"
is more interesting than
"car lost control"
Gotta make people talk about it somehow.
