As some may recall about a year ago I bought Rays 57CR wheel in 18x9.5+38 square, and ultimately ran 255/40, 275/35. It was a nice light setup, aggressive but functional. Tires were a bit meaty as I was aiming to keep the same OD as stock 08 wheels, but ultimately looked too thick of a sidewall when most run 275/35 or 285/30 tire with 18's. While not slammed, I was a bit low, about 1.5 fingers in between tire and fender. Not very common, but in some harder dips I would still rub.
Insert the new 57CR now finally offered in 19" spec. While they have 19x8.5+35 and 19x9.5+35 and 19x10.5+35, I saw some ran 18x9.5+45 square and decided to try 19x9.5+45 square. They are 22 lbs each, and with light Michelin P4S 255/35 in front, and 285/30 Michelin Pilot Super Sport in the back(P4S not available in the rear size).
Overall they sit a bit less aggressive, but also offer less rubbing than before. The front sits a bit more in than the rear. As close as the front wheel was to the hub(less than 7 mm clearance) I think I could have gone even with 265/35 or 275/35 in front.
I may raise my rear a bit and maybe drop the front 1/8" or so but otherwise they ride pretty nice and I'm excited to test this setup at autox this summer. Shout out to Louie at Mod in Japan for offering me a great price on them as well as my HKS coilovers.
Also just a heads up: I wouldn't recommend 275/35/19 in front. I saw a lot of people saying the same and I tried it anyways and it rubbed a lot even at stock height... 275/30 is where I landed and it removed 95% of the rubbing except for a little when reversing at full lock.
That first pic is pretty sexy lol I'm glad you didn't photoshop out all of your rock chips on the front bumper. My bumper looks just as beat up, or even worst.
great! How do you like the HKS coilovers?

Gotcha, good to know thanks! As far as the HKS coils. I like them. They seem better over consistently rough roads, less jerky. The hard hits are still hard though but better than my previous BC+swift 14/10.

Thanks lol. Yeah, my plan is to get the front bumper repainted and the rear diffuser trim changed here shortly in April/May. But that's what happens with a lot of happy miles
