I'm sure this is normal, but I just want to know if anyone else gets this sound with their engine. As soon as I shut the engine off and it's decelerating to 0 RPM I can hear clicking and knocking sounds. The sounds only last about 1-2 seconds. Are you guys also getting those sounds?

I don't think so. The car has low mileage. I would suspect it's the valve train spooling down, I'm not 100% sure because I don't have another isf to compare it to. Just

 

I think what you are describing is the noise the flap in our airbox makes immediately after shutdown.

 

I'll have a closer listen to the noise. I'll post a video of I can in the future. I am mechanically active and to me it's sounds like a bucket of bolts tattling on shut down lol. My engine does have that dam ticking sound on the rear drivers side right at the high pressure fuel pump once fully warmed up, maybe it has something to do with the noise I'm describing???
