ISF stalled out

ISF stalled out
My ISF just stalled out stuck in traffic then the CEL & VSC came on, I turned the car off and it started up but now it feels like in limp mode even when I floor it hits 40max. The rpm also jumps by itself and it the front shook a little bit. I was able to drive home but it stalled out 3 more times... any idea on what’s wrong? I have 122k if that matters...

No I was actually driving home from a long drive and out of nowhere i was in traffic and the car just stalled real quick and shut off but when I started it up it turnt. I last changed my MAF sensor that I brought off of eBay but it has been at least 2-3 months since I replaced it.

^^Was that maf sensor bought used or brand new? Also, was it oem? I had my shares of new eBay parts and they never lasted. Recommend checking the codes as liquidtek suggested. My bet is the ebay maf sensor failed which may explain the stalling issues you are experiencing.

First thing tomorrow I’m going to my nearby autozone to check on the code and see what’s going on... I’m hoping it’s the MAF, the MAF I got was stated as original one but it only cost me $17 or so so I doubt it’s actually authentic...

THanks for the update. Did you replace it with OEM? They are expensive but I’ve never had luck with aftermarket MAFs on any of my cars.
