Default Isf upgrades

I just bought a isf really want to install exhaust and coil overs what's the best in sound performance

If you're going for sound and you don't care about the price then the Novel headers paired up with Greddy's titanium exhaust will probably provide the SUBJECTIVELY best sound. But everyone is different you know; one person may like it and one may not. What really grinds my gears is on the facebook page you see 100+ likes for people who put spoilers on the F without removing the factory one... and then they got a roof spoiler... grats I guess... rice out the F with the triple spoiler while ruining your airflow. but eh I keep my opinions to myself as the IS freaks page is very verbal and get butthurt easily.

Honestly, sound is something that no one will agree on. Some prefer Japanese muscle, while others want that exotic high-pitched resonance. A very popular combination is PPE headers with Joe Z exhaust. It's got a great growl and throaty sound- very menacing and gives a solid presence. Another great combination is PPE with Greddy. Granted, the Greddy is discontinued, with some vendors maybe having one or two in stock, but having heard it in person....goosebumps! Power wise, all will yield significant gains over the stock manifolds and exhaust system just because it was so restrictive to begin with. But this is something I would advise to either meet up with locals to see what they have just to hear the differences or even Youtube the sounds. Of course, Youtube won't showcase the sound as prominently, but at least it will get the ball rolling in what you might want in the sound of your IS F.

Where are you located in CA? If in So Cal, there's a bunch of us that have no issue meeting up for you to gauge your sound preference. Best of luck!

Both people above me provided very valid points. For me personally, I've been in both, and I say that equal length headers all of the way on sound! I prefer a higher pitched exotic sound, and they provide that. I have the PPE equal length and dual mode exhaust on my car and no regrets!

Can you please make a video of what the car sounds like? I was looking at the EL headers, but at the end I prefer the muscular sound more.
