Default Door and other interior rattles

I've had my 2012 isf for a little over a year now and I love it, but I have noticed a few rattles begin to show themselves.

When ever the car goes over bumps there is a noticeable rattle from the center console and both driver and passenger doors. The doors sounds like the latch on the frame is loose and the rubber seal is shaking against the frame. The center console creaks and rattle like the plastic is creaking together.

Has anyone else noticed issues like this? Can anyone recommend a fix?

My 08 IS350 rattles, but it’s driven daily on rough streets. My F has rattles as well, but less so now that I’m on taller side walls. The suspension and low pro tires are hard on the car.

I tried putting some rubber restorer on the rubber door seals and that hasnt made a difference. Could the metal latch be loose? Is there maybe another kind of rubber treatment that would help?

My 13 F has a quite a bit more rattles than my 2011 535i. My 13 has squeeks and rattles and I thought it was due to car being driven in Massachusetts.

I have been fortunate enough to have no rattles except for 1. I have isolated it to the cover that fits over the rain sensor. If it bothers me enough I will eventually see if I can put some foam or something under the cover to prevent the vibrations.

I also notice some noise from the navigation screen area when it is hot out causing the plastic to expands. I saw some kind of TSB about this once and basically Lexus would take apart the center console and put some foam or something in between the panels so when they touch they don't make noise.

Someone on here recommended Gummi Plfege so I bought it on Amazon. It smells like ginger. I put it on all of the rubber door seals. I really didn't have a problem with noises from my door seals before but it made me feel better lubricating them up.

My car rattles from the center console area, and somewhere in the rear. It's annoying and I haven't been able to pinpoint locations. Going to have to spend a day with someone else in the car and see if they can pin point it when I go over rough pavement.

I finally got around to applying Gummi Plfege. The door rattles/squeaks were getting really bad. Just driving on decent roads causes lots of little annoying noises to come from the door. It took several applications. I started with the rubber on rubber contact points around the door and hit the rubber seal on the door panel below the storage cubby. That took care of most of it, but there were still some rattles, so I applied some to where the rubber seal touched the metal and plastic parts of the door. That helped even more, but I had to do one final application between the rubber seal and the door itself. I pulled out the rubber seal from top of the door, cleaned it and did an application. That pretty much took care of the rattles from the door, now there are just a couple small rattles coming from the top rear corners of the front doors. I think the interior plastic trim around the window rubs against metal and rubber, so I need to figure out a way to fix that.

I hope this was helpful to anyone having this issue.

I have a rattle coming from the drivers side dash in my IS F. It's somewhat annoying but I mainly just ignore it or increase the stereo volume.

The center console rattle I had was the plastic crossmember that is in the front of the console under the carbon piece in front of the ashtray. It has 2 10mm bolts and it makes a creek noise like plastic rubbing. I just removed mine and the noises disappeared. It doesn't really have any significance that I can see structurally. Hope this helps

Rattles are very common after the door / dash replacement. My good friend is a Lexus master tech, and he said it is very hard not to have rattles. The cars age in a way that, when you put new interior pieces in, they just don’t always fit right, causing squeekes or rattles.
