Default PowerStop Z26 Brake Pads

Hi all,

I was wondering whether if anyone have used these on there ISF? just bought a set as I've seen good reviews about these pads on Hellcats etc.

Very well priced for Ceramic Pads, my car is DD and spirited driving on the weekend, so wont be tracking the car.

Will do! will only be able to compare with OEM and PMu as these are the only other pads I've used and also I don't track the car so it'll be based off DD and also weekend twisty roads of New Zealand.

I switched to the Z23 pads from the OEM pads mainly to cut down on brake dust. I wished I had done it a lot sooner. Way less dust, didn't notice much difference in performance (though I was just using it as a DD). I wouldn't recommend them for track duty but for DD they were great and very affordable through rockauto.com.

Good to know! Dusting seems to be a big issue with most pads for the F, especially the OEM ones. Currently running ProjectMu NS400's, but for the price of those Z23's, its hard to pass up.

Yeah, I figured I would just throw the OEM pads back in if I didn't like them, since they still had plenty of pad left. I ended up really liking the powerstop pads.

Damn, you getting me excited to try the Z26, I'm using OEM again atm but my wheels end up more dustier than the Sahara desert after 1hr for sprited driving. Its unlikely Ill track the car but Z26 is suppose to be the more track focused with DD capabilities compared to Z23 which is mainly for DD.

Late update: Daily driving the car I can notice initial bite isnt as good as OEM, which is expected of any ceramic pad. However, stopping power is about the same as OEM you just need to get use to it.

As far as driving the car hard - does pretty well around New Zealand roads (twisty and sharp corners)

Brake Dust: Given how often I had to clean my wheels with OEM pads, this reason alone would be enough to make the switch to Z26 pads. - EXTREMELY low dust compared to OEM.

Correct, the z26 pads biting isn’t as good. I had the Brembo and they were better however I had to switch out due to its dusting. I’m going to try the Duralast gold next.
