Default 08 isf goodies!

I'm excited to see what came home today and why not post some pictures. Can't wait to put them on, I'm only doing the front. I'm pretty sure some of you guys already have the same setup. Please let me know what are your thoughts about it after the installation and how the car feels afterward. Thanks guys!!!

Excellent choice in parts. Same exact suspension setup on my car. Except I also did the rear Swift springs and rear Bilstein struts.

I initially lowered the front of car at first. But when the car was parked, it had too much of a rake look to it. Which sort of bugged me a lot. So I ordered rear Bilstein struts and lowered the rear. Now the car sits even and looks good.

Positon,

Really?? I would think dropping only the front will be even with the rear since the rear is sitting lower from the factory height. Do you like how the car handles now?

With all 4 corners lowered and fitted with Bilstein struts, the car rides IMO slightly stiffer than stock. I'm enjoying it a lot more than with just having the front end lowered.

Is your drop even left to right? Mine on coilovers was off so I had to lower the driver side more to even it out. By even I mean level ground measuring both sides ground to center fender arch.

BlckGhst,

How's the alignment after the swift spring installed? Is is out ready bad? I have the front springs installed only also but the tech told me it'll be out of the alignment little bit? Do you have camber kits on your car?

This is my 4 wheel alignment sheet. It was done a few days after I had the rear Swift springs and rear Bilstein struts installed. The front had really bad toe after the Swift springs installation.

I have Truhart front camber kit and SPC rear camber kit on the way.

I have the bilstein shocks on my 08 with wider tires, car is so BMW-esque. It rides much better on lower speeds <40 mph and then in the triple digits its so hunkered down like a freight train

What size are your upgrade tires for front and rear and are you on stock wheel?
