CL Members Thoughts ISF Purchase
So, I’m looking at purchasing a 2014 ISF. I found two that appear in pretty decent condition. In San Francisco I found a black one with white interior, it has 18,000 miles and they want $48,000, I live in SoCal so I could fly up and drive it back. The second one I found I like more but it’s in Virginia so I would have to have it transported here, it looks perfect. It has 25,000 miles and they want $51,000. Both cars are way too expensive for their year and miles and better deals could be had but I really want a 2014. Your thoughts ladies and gentlemen?

45k - 55k is a low mileage rcf or possibly a gsf. It really depend on what u want. Do u really want a 14 isf? They are pretty rare, have u consider maybe a 12 or a 13? Do u want newer techs and interior? If so then maybe the first two option.

I agree with the above, unless you’re collecting you’re better off with an 11-13 for $30-40k, or even older model that you can easily mod. F cars are great because they are practical yet great sporty cars and meant to be able to drive every day, unlike AMG/M etc. I’d hate to get a 14 just to let it sit. If you want 4 doors you’re better off with any older ISF to just enjoy it, or an RCF at $38-45k or GSF at $45-50k.

Thats a pretty steep price for exclusivity. Were there huge differences to the model year from 2013? If you want that low production and having the last model year of the ISF, i say go for it. If you just want the most updated version of the ISF go for a 12-13 and save yourself about 10-15k (for bolt ons )

Funny — i have the same exact car, down to every single option and I’m also in sacramento. Surprised I haven’t seen it around. Drove a ‘14 before i bought mine and I couldn’t tell a difference. Went with the ‘12 as it was $10k less and I’m not a fan of the alcantara on high wear areas(seats, door panels, arm rest). Both cars were the white/red interior as well. There is a significant premium for 2014s so be prepared to pay more if you have to have that MY.

I am new to the forum and have considered an 11+ ISF for years until recently. With the price delta between an 11 ISF and 16 GS less $20k, I have been considering a GSF with the expectations its a slightly larger and more modern ISF. The interior looks significantly more upscale and the exterior styling edgier in my opinion. This purchase would be a daily driver used 60 miles a day with an occasional passenger. I will not track the car.
Your thoughts would be much appreciated.
