I say more mods! The only real warranty item I would see is probably the valley plate.

Honestly after doing the Greddy Ti exhause and Novel headers, I would totally do mods

All the problems with the IS-F are predictable

Often what’s best for you doesn’t feel like you “get anything” for it.

Mine’s been paid off for three years and one year out of extended warranty...I JUST bought my first mod.

I’d mod it, but he is right. People have no idea how powerful the time value of money is. Just research it. If we were smart, we would all refuse to have unnecessary debt, and pay it all off ASAP.

I currently am putting all extra funds to paying off debts, but I built my car first lol (no mods were completed with debt).

Interest rates are super low right now, why pay things off? Take out more debt it's a great time lol

My total fees on my loan will be $3700. If I were to take that money out of my high yield savings and pay it back in like a car payment, I'd lose 10k in compound interest. Money can be more complicated than it seems...

You understand the time value of money well. I didn’t mean rob Peter to pay Paul, I meant it’s smarter to pay off debt before modding. That said, I built my car with a loan still on it. My car is my poor financial decision. The rest are good decisions.

On the matter of wealth since finances got brought into the conversation, I have dealt with my share of deaths and having to sort out their finances I've never encountered an instance where they died debt free, some were hard workers chipping away at the debt that never got paid off and some were spending credit and money ignoring debt . who lived the happier life?

I think that can really only be answered by yourself.

If I die after 65, my house will be paid off, and my one current debt is this car, which I have enough cash on hand to pay off. Obviously there's no way to predict the future, but I certainly don't plan on using credit ***** nilly and don't expect to have debt when I die.
