Kicking off another short run of standard tunnel braces for the IS-F platform. One operation done and boy are they shiny.

Looks super clean. When will they be ready to ship? Been thinking about picking one of these up.

Middle of next week. We can also ceramic coat them as well. Just let me know.

Hi Mike,

Could you please share more details on what these do and if they replace an existing OE part?

These augment the flex zone in the center of the vehicle, where the trans tunnel pivots. They replace a stamped sheet metal part that is there from the factory. we make 2 versions, one for guys with cats in that area that need extra clearance. it ends up being a pretty critical area, from the first customers that installed them, if the car was not supported a particular way, there is enough flex in the chassis that the holes will not line up. So jacking and supporting on the frame rails is required if you do not have a lift.

Not figs, but I'd doubt its anything significant. While the replacement looks to be aluminium the stock part is a stamped steel part.

Are these compatible with all after market exhausts and headers?

Just a bolt on? No cutting or drilling holes?

I'm interested! Will you be doing the cool colors?

Yes it will be a direct bolt on by the looks of it. You would be the only guy at the car meet with your car on jack stands saying “look at my cool tunnel brace guys!” Catch is you have to crawl under my car 😂

I am surprised you don’t make more chassis bracing for the ISF. I think many of us would buy it seeking rigidity.

I have seen it in the past. That is sort of what I meant. I’m surprised Figs hasn’t made an even more robust version. I am about to jump down the rabbit hole of custom suspension. I don’t know how much our car flexes, but she is heavy and i imagine there is much room for improvement. I’m not interested in a cage since I need my back seat. A big beefy underbody brace would be nice, unless our car is so rigid it’s not necessary (sounds like it flexes).

That looks like a supplement to the figs piece in this thread, not a replacement.

Does it go under the car, yes, But that's NOT the same piece. Not even close
