Coincidentally I got the car aligned a week ago. Since yesterday, the steering wheel won't lock when the car is off. I tried resetting the battery a few times...the first time the steering wheel lock worked, but only until I hit the Ignition Switch. The wheel has the same amount of play when OFF and/or in ACC mode. There is a 'Notchy' feeling while driving when I turn the wheel from left to right, or from right to left. I can't seem to figure out if the Steering Lock Actuator, Steering Column, Steering Shaft, and/or Steering Rack is bad. Anyone else experience something like this? Steering ECU was not replaced.
