Default Legit 2012 USB ISF For Sale?

Good afternoon CL,

Does this ISF belong to anyone on the forum or does any know the owner? If anyone has any information in regards to this ISF i would be interested in learning if this ISF is actually for sale.

Thank you

RG

I saw someone reached out about this on the ISF FB group and this is the response they got...(screenshot attached). Seems like a scam to me!

Doesn't seem too "unlegit" to me....just verify the car is there, verify everything with the dealership he's working with (make sure they're a large dealership and legit), look the car over, check Carfax, etc, verify a clean title, etc. If it all checks out, go for it. If you have a shady feeling on it, pass on it, quite simple.

If he is indeed out of thr country, depending on the kind of money he is making, if definitely wouldn't be worth his time to come back to the US to sell a $20k/$30k/$40k car, or whatever he's selling it for. Some people make that kind of money per day....and some people even per hr.....so wouldn't make sense to take off time to come back to sell a car. Not saying if this is the case with him or not, but may be.

Why is it a scam?

I'm selling my IS-F in a very similar way, I posted it on craigslist, I'm out of the country right now, the transaction will go through a lexus dealer or a exotic car dealer in Houston so I don't have to worry about any paper work, gives me peace of mind and allows the seller to handle financing and what not on their own

However the verbage seems very generic, I would ask about valley plate and recalls, every ISF owner would know about that stuff

Offering a 7 day no questions asked money-back guarantee, with free shipping anywhere from Alaska LOL PLUS free return shipping back to Alaska as well if unsatisfied. Is the world losing all common sense?

Yes, that is the same message that i received, but I do have a friend who lives is Anchorage that said he will check the car out. I asked the seller if we could arrange this and also requested the dealership information. I guess we will see what happens from here.

Thanks

I googled "ISF Asanti" and it resulted with this: Google search resulted in this: http://www.2040-cars.com/Lexus/IS/le...f-2012-976624/

So the seller has responded the car will be sold through Direct Auto Sales LTD, 107 Waldron Way, Portland ME.

My friend has no issues checking the car out for me, but the seller would like 50% down first and a fee of 550 to schedule a appointment. The seller stated that he has a contract with DAS and it would be nice to see the ISF listed under their inventory for an extra peace of mind, but any how the website is listed below.

https://directautosalesltd.com/

I will probably give them a call this afternoon and go from there.

Thanks,

50% down and a $550 fee just to view this car sounds nuts!

Thats a tough one. I personally would be weary with doing out of CONUS deals with cars. Hopefully it works out for you, if not....

100% a scam. Feel free to call that place if you want to see what other BS they feed you but please do not give them any money or too much other personal information.

All their inventory is just pulled from other places on the internet.

Also see this carbon copy of their website with a different name and address and slightly different inventory with some overlap. https://www.autosmartsolutionsinc.com/

Edit: Web servers are also hosted in Iceland, which is very atypical for a website for a company claiming to be US based.
