I do quite a bit of night driving on back roads, and have been looking to increase my fog light output (H11 bulbs). I've been experimenting on a handful of eBay LED fog light bulbs over the past few months and have finally found a set that I'm really pleased with. I would definitely recommend going with 4-sided bulbs (vs. 2-sided) and personally prefer the 5000k color temperature. I have no idea how accurate the actual lumen/light output is vs what's advertised but honestly couldn't be happier!
Thoughts? I definitely wanted to stay close as close to the "OEM look" as much as possible.
NEW 5000K 1500W bulbs on left and old 6000K 1400W on right
Both 5000K LED 1500W bulbs installed:

Nice. I was wondering the same for myself. Are they actually brighter compared to the the stock halogen bulbs or does it just appear to look brighter? I like the cutout and light output from the stock halogen fog bulbs as I experimented with different cars with LEDs and most just appeared brighter at the source but did not output correctly or shine brighter than halogen.

These 4-sided 1500W 5000K LED H11 bulbs are definitely brighter, and spread the light output much further/wider than the stock OEM halogen bulbs.
Thanks. I appreciate that. Did these come with like a yellow glass tube that goes over it? I'd like to keep mine yellow.
Nope, no yellow glass tube/filter to cover the bulb to change the color temperature (which I personally was trying to avoid anyway).. Just install the bulb and you are ready to go with this particular set. There were not many 5000K (or lower) color temperature bulbs out there with the 4-sided and output that I was wanting.
We need to see output shots in the dark. I've been looking for LED fogs for my daily and "settled" on the best solution out there right now, the Diode Dynamics SS3. They cost an arm and a leg, but the output is amazing.
