Default 2UR-GSE Oil pump(s?)

Sup guys,

So I was reading some threads, and it appears that there are 2 oil pumps. On Lexus part's websites, I can't seem to find the 'main' oil pump. I can find the 'scavenging' oil pump, but not the main. So, I looked up what a scavenging pump is. Turns out it pumps oil back into the oil pan after it falls into the crankcase. Also, looking at the diagram, it almost seems like the main oil pickup line goes to the scavenging pump. Could someone clarify if the scavenging pump and main oil pump are in the same space, just the main part of behind the timing chain cover? And also, where is the tube that the oil scavenging pump sends the oil through to go back into the oil pan?

This should explain it all in pictures. You really should get a TIS account for a couple of days and go through the New Car Features for the models you are curious about. It has all this stuff in it.

Ok, I think I understand this now. So the scavenging pump is in the same space as the main pump, its just above the timing cover instead of below it. So, the scavenging pump is above the timing cover, and then the one BELOW the timing cover is the main pump. I would also guess that the main strainer is of course, the main strainer and that the 'to oil pan' tube goes somewhere that I can't see (unless its this little port over here):

That port is on the opposite side of the engine, however. Thats the only thing that makes sense to me. By the way, I really want a TIS subscription, but since I'm pretty young still I don't have the funds to pay for it. Once I do, I'll make sure to get a subscription!

$15 for two days? If that's stretching your budget, you're in a tight spot.

Tight spot indeed. Btw, its actually $20 for me. seems like a low amount but when you aren't able to earn anything, its a pretty large amount.
