I really dislike buying critical car parts on EBay / Amazon..
Counterfeit / no brand supply chain controls are the worst.
If you can't buy the Lexus OEM plug from the dealer, please at least buy the DENSO OEM equivalent from a reputable retailer.

I would get NGK iridiums, I got mine from SummiRacing, they matched RockAuto price, never looked back. You get a fake ones, the potential damage would be catastrophic.
Just google around, horror stories about the metal prong coming off, scoring cylinder walls, no thank you. This is not an area to cheap out on.

I'd even watch advanced auto parts coupon codes. Be careful with walmart as well, there listings there that are third party vendors. Not saying that they'd intentionally pass off counterfeits, but the supply chain apparently was pretty well stocked with them.

You can buy them on Amazon or eBay but make sure the seller is reputable. Such as "Shipped and Sold by Amazon" or "BellLexus". It takes a little more checking but you can find a good deal. The fakes are made for the Asian market but some of them find their way into our markets as well. You can easily end up with fakes if you aren't careful. I bought mine from a local Lexus dealer just to be sure.

^^^^Actually the counterfeits are made in China to sell wherever there is a market, mainly in the western world. I got my good plugs at Advance Auto Parts, AAP. When I bought 'em I let them sit in my basket for awhile and then got an eMail offering my another 20% off. I ended up paying $41.54 for all 8 plugs. Note they were not the OEM plug but the TT replacement plug. The plug on the left is the phony eBay plug:

The ones I got from Walmart were sold and shipped directly from Walmart f third parties.
i only asked because I saw you guys talk about buying brake rotors from eBay ( containerparts ) and figured there might be an equivalent to that for spark plugs.

When you get them take a good close look at them, it's still distinctly possible that they'll be fine, but again it's an involved job, you'd rather not have to immediately redo them.

It doesn't matter where you buy them as long as they are true OEM, which is sometimes difficult, but not impossible, to distinguish. Buy plugs at discount, the exact brand/model number, from a reputable, on-line dealer i.e., Toyota/Lexus/RockAuto, or, on ebay via one of their reputable sellers. I have, and haven't been burned yet, but I'm extremely careful when doing so. Wherever you buy, reference, cross-reference, then cross-reference again to be sure you are getting what you want! True OEM will ensure the great reliability Lexus is known for.
