Do any of you have experience with asymmetrical tail pipes? The only way I can think to adjust that is with heat and persuasion, but I’m open to ideas before I get out a torch.

no need for any of that. It's your car. If you like how it looks, then leave it be.

What I mean is, one of the exhaust pipes is not centered in the bumper opening. The right side is a little off. I plan to keep the exhaust as is, I just need to get the right side to move down and to the left by about a 1/4 inch.

Agreed

I remember many years ago (long before I knew what an ISF was), seeing a blue one on the road. The tips stood out in a good way

Still remember near what intersection it was too. Funny I ended up owning the same type of car many years later

I drove around for 9 years with this type of look except the mufflers and tips were titanium. It only looked good when the car was too low. Raised the car to a better handling height and it looked odd. Finally got tired of it and got some quad tips back on just before the new year. Looks like a totally different car.

Tanabe had a similar idea back in 2008.
Most of the members were NOT into single tip, project was scrapped and the exhaust never made it to production.

There usually is some adjustability in exhausts if you loosen the bolts and adjust before re-tightening but it may not be enough to center your tips. JoeZ being a true dual exhaust (at least separated exhaust pipes at the axle back), you should be able to loosen the bolts on the passenger side to adjust the one side. You can also try installing an exhaust crush gasket and over tightening one bolt so it crushes more on one side (I hope that makes sense). Good luck and let us know how you eventually get it done!

Before purchasing these, I searched for slip fit dual tips. There weren’t any slip fit, and not many options in 2.75 inch inlet that required welding. Most of them are designed in a way that creates scavenging, with one tip welded into the side of another tip. That creates a bottle neck of flow, so a poor design for performance.

There are numerous options for 2.5 and 3 inch exhaust. 2.75 didn’t offer many. That’s what led me to single tips. I’m glad I went this way, but for those of you that are curious, I couldn’t actually find decent dual tips for the PTS exhaust.

These actually look pretty good I must say. I don't hate it. If my OEM tips ever fail I'll go this route or a true dual tip.

Have you tried using stainless hose clamps on one of the exhaust hangers? Just fit it around the rubber hanger on the side that's not right. I did that on my is350 back in the day to bring one side up and over just a tad for a more symmetrical look. Worth a shot and would save you lots.

Looks good to me. It was literally one of the first things I did when I went to the xForce. I don’t like the faux quad tips. I would only have quad tips if that is how any muffler comes I.e the quad tip mufflers from RR.

Saw this one on IG. Didn’t think it was that bad. I like it!
