Default It's been a good 10 years

Just sold my car to an enthusiast in N.C. It's been a great run. I enjoyed her the entire time. This forum has been a wealth of info over the years.

Did you splurge for FSD or autopilot?

I did, FSD and performance model. I wanted it for the tech mostly and felt I'd be doing myself a diservice by not getting it. The car is insanely quick as well, its really on a different level than my ISF in terms of pure adreniline rush.

Which Tesla is that?

I hope you enjoy it for a good ten plus years. I wouldn’t mind a Tesla for a daily, but I need to keep my F for the funner times.

Yep congrats. I daily a performance model S. Whole different world from the F. I still love my F but it’s more of a fun weekend car, the Tesla is a great daily for practicality and fun at every red light.

I’ve seen a model 3 with rays wheels and lowered. It was really good looking. My next daily will be electric, but that’s 10 years away.

I've seen a few as well, they do look pretty nice with a lowered stance. I'll probably wait a bit if I'm going to do that. I've been low for a few years and its nice atm to not have to dodge and drive so slow in certain spots. I am getting a full Xpel stealth wrap put on on Monday so that will give it a little something to stand out amongst the Model 3s in my area.

Nice pick up. Test drove one about a year ago and was super impressed. If I lived in a more urban area, I'd already have one. Plus, they won't go the distance for a track day. So for now, it's gas burning for me.

Nice pickup on the Tesla I have one as well but couldn't get rid of the ISF at this point in time so I drive F on the weekends to fill in the gap that the P3D can't fill.

Can't say I'm not jealous. That picture of them in my garage made me wish I could keep them both. That wasn't going to play out well with my wife so the F was sacrified for the good of my marriage.

I hear ya, the only way I was able to keep the ISF and get the Tesla is that the ISF is paid off and the insurance is really cheap on it so it doesn't really cost us anything to keep the car at this point in time.

But on the Tesla front it's an amazing car for city/daily driving and really can't be beat as far as a mode of transportation for ease of use and fun for stoplight obliterating of traffic

I’m very curious how EVs will transition into track cars. Under heavy load, they use charge quick. We don’t have the tech capable of it yet for the average consumer prices.
