Indeed. Fair comparison for sure. Love these LiFePo4 units.

Long Video... But they cover pros and cons of their automotive battery

So would having a dashcam that runs with the car off (but shuts off at 12v) be an issue for these batteries?

Sticker flip = Awesome.
I did not have that foresight.

Installed AG-24-40-RS last night and connected charger umbilical and tracker transponder.
Enjoying that eager 1500CCA startup...no more "tired Tundra" noises.

Tried out the charger, but have not fiddled with the tracker app much (it wants location data all the time, seriously???).

Thanks @lobuxracer for your help and recommendations.

New AG-24-40-RS @ 14.6lbs (scale reads to nearest 0.2lb).

Old Bosch 24-700B @ 39.4lbs (scale reads to nearest 0.2lb).

Terminal wiring to charger umbilical and tracker.

Terminal covers installed, charger umbilical stowed for flight. Could use slotting to fit covers more snugly over the charger umbilical and tracker eyelets. Looks like a previous owner cut out a portion of the positive terminal cover.

Sorry if i missed it. Why to choose the Antigravity group-24 over the ArcAngel G-24?

Arc-angel hasn't had the group 24 in stock when I emailed him in October. He is also redesigning the BMS and manufacturering in house starting the new year. The price will increase SIGNIFICANTLY at that time. The group 51 might work, but they mentioned that they felt that it might be a little on the small size for AH.

Just for comparison, here's an AGM Group 24F. This is a pretty massive weight reduction.

Not at all. If the battery drops below threshold, it will disconnect and you can invoke the Restart function to get running again. That's one of the best features of this battery.

Thanks. I thought some batteries tend to handle power draws / deep cycles better than others. Plus I wasn't sure if the lower Ah would mean the dashcam wouldn't last as long when the car is off. I think I get maybe 2 days out of my dashcam with my Bosch AGM.

That being said, antigravity was quick to say that the BMS cutoff isn't something they would recommend you running into often.

What is the draw on the dashcam? If it's killing a 65 Ah battery in 2 days, that sounds like it pulls some serious power.
