Only a downgrade if you don’t have a daily driver. As mentioned above, ISF is a great all in one car. But if you have a 4 seater or SUV, a coupe would be way more fun and a C6Z or Supra would be my choice. Honestly the direction I’m leaning towards, kind of want a lifted GX/LX and a coupe.

From what I inspected, jt has a carb sticker on all of the parts, even down to the cam. Im tired dealing with smog and such in California.
Yup, I dealt with one of the very early Edelbrock kits. Wasn't a good experience at all and was going to forewarn you privately if that was the setup. Glad you're in a different setup. And the factory cylinder walls is the next problem, sounds like you may be set. Enjoy it!

I was actually split between a C6Z and my ISF. But since it's 95% daily driver, and 5% track car, the C6z just didn't fit. Even at that split, I was still considering the Z though.

Every newer stock CTR i've seen on the track quits early due to heat soak and rising temps - but it sounds like you've got that under control and yours are not stock once they reach the house.

All the best to ya!

I like the Type R looks don't bug me, but I have been reading the same thing about the overheating issues on track. I'm surprised Honda hasn't gotten that under control yet?

I went from a cammed 450whp C5 Targa base 6MT to my ISF. This is because I already have a dual purposed street/track S2000 though but the ISF has all the check marks except Wagon with Manual but I can totally live with what it is for the rest of its intended purpose.
Comparatively to my s2k the vette felt like an obese s2000, still handled exceptional but the package of how the s2000 is even being at half the power and cylinders had better driver to car connection/emotion. The really long gears in the C5 were relaxing but not too engaging. A lot of 2nd and 3rd with not much shifting.

Now I have two somewhat legendary JDM cars.

I can vouch for a GX. Unless doing very serious off-road be SURE to get KDSS. Its incredible.

They said the 2020 has no overheating issues. They widen the front airflow.
