Q50 Redsport or stick with ISF?
I was thinking about making the switch over to Infiniti. I know the q50 in stock form is faster and has cheaper aftermarket parts to modify compared to the ISF. It also has a lot more potential. I think what I’m trying to find out is if it’s worth sticking around since I’ve had my ISF for a while and know other platforms are cheaper to modify. I’m currently FBO and want to know what people think.

I like both but look at how much more potential the Q50 3.0T has as far as power goes. Parts for that car are also so much cheaper. It would also be a much newer car verse my 08 isf which feels ancient as far as the interior, navi, sound system go.

It sounds like you already know what is important to you and the ISF doesn't quite deliver in those areas. This is an ISF forum, most will tell you to stick around. I love my F and would tell you the same, but my preference is not in modding potential or electronics. Do what's best and most enjoyable to you - life is too short.

Pole Position
I've heard the 7 speed transmissions on those are the weak point on that platform and the 8 speed in the ISF is leagues better than what Infiniti put in those. It's a shame really because the engine is pretty well engineered minus the tranny 🤷♂️

I have thought about supercharging my isf but mine has 145k miles. Even though my compression test came out good the mileage just puts me off. If I supercharge it then I might as well build it so I need to count the build cost into purchasing the supercharger as well. The other car needs to be a truck so I can’t have both. So I either keep the isf or the q50. I can’t find myself spending that much on a car (gtr) and then buying parts modding it.

I really doubt you need to build the engine unless you plan to go for a lot more power. If I was fine with spending the money I wouldn't hesitate to put a supercharger on a high mileage F. Have you considered talking to RR about this? They're the experts... I have a feeling they'd be on the side of sending it though.
