Best bet is call around to some salvage yards. I don't see the part listed on car-part.com but select say an engine then call that yard see if they have other parts

Are you sure the car had the unit from the factory? Most did not.

How do you know your car came with it from factory?

Check the steering wheel controls. If it came with RCC, it will have that "distance button".

If your car has got a 'distance' button on steering wheel and you DoNot have the 'radar' type emblem on your front grill but a normal one then there is the possibility that the car has had a front end damage done and the emblem was replaced with a normal one instead of the very expensive millimetre micro-wave radar unit $$$$$$'s

Standard type emblem

Radar cruise emblem

Ouch. That's a rare unit (only applies to the IS F) and the price is crazy from Lexus. There were very few of these cars equipped with radar cruise control. Finding a used one will be difficult at best.

This part is available from Lexus. I understand you'd like to save some money, but you're going to burn a whole lot of time just finding one in the first place, much less finding one for a good price. If it were me and I still wanted this functionality, I'd cough up the $1400 and call it good.

All the used ones on the 'Bay are not the one you need. The original part number is 88210-53040, and there are none of those, the updated part is the same number you posted in your original post.

Might it be possible to get a unit from another model and adapt it? Sure. But how much time can you afford to sink into this project? I would only do that if there were no other choice available, and I'd start by looking at pictures of the connectors on the candidate part to see if it is even possible to plug it in. Supras are like this now. IS Fs will be sooner than we'd like. But right now, you can order the part and get a new one, plug it in, and have a working system. How important is it really?

Thank you for your replay, acctually the radar is not that important for me, but the cruse control will not work without it, and 3 alarms in the dash making me angery 😅

If there is possibility to reprogram the car without Radar, i will go for this choice and it will be similar to ISF without radar

You'd need to replace the cruise control switch with 84632-34011 and a wire connecting to the current ECU with 84633-48020 and remove the radar cruise control ECU located on the driver's side inside the dash. It's not particularly easy to get to this unit. You'll also need to disconnect the seatbelt pretensioning ECU, 89815-53020. It's in the driver's side rear over the wheel well. Last but not least, the driver's and passengers seat belts will need to be replaced with 73210-53220-C2 (right) and 73220-53130-C4 (left) because they are not the same and will not work properly without the precollision function working as intended. It would not be a good idea to buy these from a wrecked car. I bet it's cheaper just to buy the piece you need and install it.
