ISF 2012- Engine stall issue
Hi all,
I have issue with below CEL codes.
P0102- MAF circuit low
P0113 IAT circuit high input
P1360 A Camshaft position actuator circuit open low high bank 1
P1364 C camshaft position actuator circuit open low high bank 1
P1603 Engine Stall history
P1604 Startability malfuncation
P1605 rough idling
I tried to put the car in limp mode because of aftermarket intake system but the car would stall after few seconds.
I have read on forums for replacing the electric cam gear 130A0-38012 ( which is pricey part)
Can any one help on this or had similar issue. no work was done on car . I had bought the from auction with front end impact with no damage to engine except radiator/ air box etc which is replaced and all harness are connected.
Thanks.

Check if efi2 fuse blew. My car threw all the same codes plus o2 heater codes because this fuse blew on a really hot day at an autocross event. My iat got up to 85 degrees celsius while waiting between runs just heat soaking which is what I think caused the fuse to blow. Since then I've been opening my hood between runs and haven't had an issue.
If the fuse is good read maf data with your scan tool. If there's no signal then you'll need to go through the diagnostic procedures found in tis/repair manuals. If the harness was damaged in the accident your problem may be in that area.

Hiya,
I have checked EFI fuse and they are good, i managed to fix the electric cam motor( replaced it with a new one and rest of the codes gone except the engine stall ( P1603 engine stall history)
i have refuel the tank with fresh gas and some injector cleaners and cycled the by starting it on/off . no luck
checked all wiring they are good and fuses. only P1603 is present . the moment i start the engine it shuts off in 5 seconds.

Hi all,
I have techstream and how do i freeze data? Kinda new into it
The engine was removed to sort out the chassis, i will check it when i visit the mechanic shop.
The intake intake system was damage and i have an HPS tube with maf and cone on other side. Will this work? Does anyone have spare intake they want to sell? Or aftermaket injen short ram will work?
This is just starting of the issue, next is steering ecu not responding or working and abs
I want the engine to run normal before i tackle other issue else im screwd 😂
Thanks for the help, i will post pics next time.

I have seen a couple instances where the MAF sensor was installed backwards and one of the symptoms is the engine shuts off after a few seconds. Especially easy to do with an aftermarket MAF housing. Make sure the MAF sensor if facing the right way

Glad it solved your issue. I spent 14 hours troubleshooting this exact problem after doing a valve lash inspection. You have no idea how distressing it is to work all night (6:30 AM) and have your best friend say, "You need to get some sleep, you're just getting more frustrated and depressed right now." He was right. When I got up and looked at it fresh, I noticed those hoses didn't look feng shui - and validated with online pictures I had them backwards. Since then, I haven't wanted anyone else to be as upset as I was, so I've been keen to assist when I hear the "starts and runs, but shuts off by itself" because I'm 99% sure what the problem is.
