Default ISF wheels and stock suspension

Hi all,

Does anyone have any idea what the limits are on what width/offset wheels you can run on the F with stock suspension (and without modifying the arch)?

I was looking at some Work M8R in 8.5" 38 and 9.5" 38, they would stick out 13.4mm more at the front and 23.4mm more at the rear.

Thanks,

I am currently struggling with 275/35/19 Michelin PS4S on 19x9.5 51ET OEM wheels rubbing on one side. Your tire selection will impact this decision, but I seriously doubt you'll be able to put wide tires on those wheels and not rub.

@lobuxracer

See below... Clears perfectly fine on my 2012 wheels and 275/35

I didn't waste my time with heating & rolling..

I shaved / grinded off the excess metal and used a few layers of touch paint to seal it up..

Looks & feels like OEM

With this Rear set up:

19x9.5 w/ 35mm offset on a 265-30 Yokohama Advan Sport tire

Solved via DIY .. (Not recommend for the novice)

That was circa 2009...

Best mod to date for lowered F's and wider tire clearance issues.

Thanks guys.

I had been hoping I could get away without any modifications to the arch/etc as it's the least extreme offset available for the wheel, oh well.

I guess nearly 2.5CM wider than stock is just too much though, shame.

Rears: 9” wheel w/15mm spacers~ +40 offset on 275/30-19’s. No rubbing.

Fronts: 8” wheel w/ 15mm spacer ~ +30 offset on 245/35-19.
