Default My ISF story

pearl white
125k miles as of now.
all options but that auto follow radar cruise control and the automatic rear blind.

MyLexus App shows the original owner religiously maintained car every 5 K miles at Lexus. The original owner had a baby and said that on rough surfaces the baby’s head bobbled around too much. She went to trade it in and was lowballed on the trade in value. She sold it to me for 1k over dealers offer (20,500).
I searched the entire US for months and this one popped up 10 miles away in a low populated area. I thought it must be a scam from one of the auto sales sites I visited.

In five years I’ve added only 20k miles.

Problems have been minor.
1 Dealer fixed a loose rear view mirror.
2 Dealer replaced the Mark Levinson front tweeter.
Both issues had service bulletins and were fixed free post warranty.
3 My only other problem is the rear faux exhaust tip fell off. Replacement price was way too high since Lexus only sells both tips with the connecting muffler parts.
Thinking I would replace entire exhaust, for a quick fix, removed the other tip and had some wire mesh in their place. It looks cool actually.

@Vinnisf So do you have dual single on one side with the other side blocked off? Curious what that looks like, I considered a huge 3 or 3.5" single exit on one side

^^ Sounds likes removed other tip and installed a mesh grill on each side.

Leaving the stock exhaust in place..

...at least that's how I read it.

Joe Z is correct. I replaced both sides with the wire mesh. Didn’t touch the rest of the exhaust.

Is this ok for the car, or could it affect the cars breathing or anything else?

This is a temp fix until I get a Joe Z cat back.
