Hi guys

I would like to make same swap in my IS-F. My car is accident car and engine is a bit damaged. For me makes no sense to repair the engine and if i need to replace them I would like to swap with RC-F unit.
The problem is I can do simple mechanic or change pinout but for such a things like programming I would have to found some professional service.
Dear JaMIKEca could you please provide us ecu pinouts to do the first step with engine installation? I made quick review for injection units plugs and I see IS-F has more wires IN (one or 2) - how did you manage this because I susspect you used RC-F units?
The biggest problem for me seems to be this fuel pressure issue - would be that possible to replace fuel pomp in tank? I recognise RC-F has fuel pressure regulator there. What do you think?

Hi guys

I am surprised that nobody answer my post till now. In the meantime I started some works with wiring adjustment and its not so easy P&P as it was mentioned. The differences are:
1) Alternator in IS-F has additionally turning speed sensor (I believe) -> extra 3 wires
2) Air flow sensor in IS-F has 5 Pins, in RCF has 4 Pins
3) Pins in engine ECU are not only swap within same plug but also between plugs. Sometimes wires are too short and must be extended, sometimes ther are located to position where Pin is thicker (bigger) and you have to use IS-F wire to connect them in proper position.
Considering those issues I decide to adjust original IS-F wiring.
Currently I'm stuck on the injection controllers located on the engine because I don't have a wiring diagram for the RC-F. I assume that the RC-F ones should be used and not the old ones from IS-F and that they work with the IS-F ECU without any issues??

You'd be way ahead to reach out to the guy who did this on Instagram or wherever he posted this originally. He's not a regular here and likely has never seen your request.

ohhh it's a pity. I need help with pinout for injection controllers - those placed on the engine. Is there anyone who could help with this matter? I need both - IS-F and RC-F to compare.
Thanks

I don’t know about the RCF, but here is what I found for the ISF ecu pinout.

Hi
thank you mate. I also found it in Google however it is needed at least to have same document for RC-F, GS-F or LC500.
Other and easy way would be to have pinout for sockets in injection drivers no 89871-50010 and 89871-30040. Same just to be sure its same because plugs are same are variators to compare. I only know ground is in the same position
This is what i am looking for now.

I attached the same information for the the RCF, I just selected MY2018 at random.
Couldn't find a pinout for the injector drivers, but I dont use TIS very often.

must be nice lol

I'd love to see this become more common, the thought of a 500whp with just bolt ons (after swap) makes me feel a certain kind of way.

Are you going to use the ISF ecu, or try to use the RCF ecu?
I wonder how much different things like gauges and climate controls are or if they even run through the ecu. It was my understanding that the ecu on these cars controls more than just the engine, I could be wrong about that though. It'd make it a lot easier if it was like a traditional ecu.

I fallow same path as our expired colegue.
The only difference is that i am adjusting IS-F wireing instead of RC-F one - for me its more comfortable.

Another RCF swap in the bag! This one is different though. It's turbocharged! Check out the video below or my Instagram for more details. Also, I don't get notifications from here and rarely check replies so if you need to reach out to me for help contact me on IG. Search @jamikeca to find me and I'll happily answer any questions you have. See video below for new RCF swap 👇🏾
