Hi,
My 2008 ISF with 156k KM (97k miles), had developed metallic ticking sound when idling on cold start. As according to forums there were several potential issues that could have been linked to the issue, therefore went to independent shop and afterwards to Lexus dealer to identify the problem.
Both shops came to same conclusion, that I need to change Camshaft timing control motor with part number 130A0-38030. This part is used also in other Lexus cars GS460 and LS460. Dealer changed the part last week and the issue is solved.

Overall costs:
Cam timing control motor price - 600 USD (+ shipping from US and customs)
Fitment - 2-3 hours
