First post here, just wanted to get some veteran info on a 2012 ISF on the market currently. Here is the link to the post, https://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/9...-6cad820b1f69/ . My questions are, is the price worth the current state of the car? What should I look for if I were to look at it? Is it worth it for a daily driver/long term? Any tips etc.? I am also not in the same state (CA) as the vehicle (KS) so im wondering if you all have tips for that as well for all to go smoothly. Thank you for your time

In my opinion, I don't think that would make a good daily due to the extensive modifications. Seeing that it's supercharged, you're probably looking at 10-12 mpg if you stay out of the gas. To me, that looks like a weekend cruiser/track only car but I am sure some folks wouldn't mind daily driving a supercharged ISF.

It will never pass CA smog without some serious help. The car is so far off smog legal it isn't even funny the level of effort you'd need to pass. It also appears to be originally from PA according to the comments. There was a member here from PA who had a supercharged IS F and had nothing but problems (no idea the full extent, but he posted a few times about issues he was having). Might be the same car. He mentioned selling it more than once.

Thank you for your response, Ill probably end up going with a more stock version and build it up from there

Ah ok I see, that completely changes my perspective on a supercharger. Im better off going NA for a more reliable fun daily. Thanks for your input
